Jamie and Jason

These are some of the crazy adventures we have while living in the grand city of Toronto - remember, you can click on any picture to make it bigger.

Name:
Location: Toronto, Canada

Jamie and Jason have been married 4 years, together 6, and surprisingly, are not sick of each other yet.

A short drive down Golden Avenue in Markham, Ontario has more in common with the aisles of Blockbuster than you'd think.

It is not immediately clear which famous Stanley is referred to by Stanley Lane.
We like to think it was named for Stanley Kubrick, although
we both agree Kubrick Lane has a nicer ring to it.
Other possibilities: MC Hammer (real name: Stanley Burrell),
Paul Stanley (rock god from KISS), Stanley Tucci (everybody's favourite bald guy).

It's probably less eerie to live on Elm Street than to live
on Kruger Road.

It's probably best to deliberately leave this one vague;
we wouldn't want any in-fighting in the Fonda
family. Perhaps patriarch Henry Fonda is most deserving,
but try telling that to son Peter Fonda, daughter
Jane Fonda, or grand-daugther Bridget Fonda.
Personally, my money's on the girl with workout videos.

Of all the roads named after comedians in drag, Doubtfire Crescent is
undoubtedly my favourite and it seems many Markhamites agree.
Normally these neighbourhoods feature street signs of the short and squat variety
(see brown signs like Kruger Rd above). However, those short signs are easy
to steal and Doubtfire Cres proved too tempting for residents.
At 6'1, the street sign is still well above the reach of this possible thief.
Thwarted again!

Does it get any cooler than living at the corner of Brando & Stella?

Easter 2006

Yeah, we attempted to decorate eggs this year. Perhaps this was a dumb impulse. Perhaps I should not have posted the pictures.

What can I say? The man likes to wear buckets. Aside from gifts, he also got over 200 pieces of candy this year. Spoiled brat.
