In late May, we participated in "Doors Open Toronto", a chance to take a look at some of the city's architecture for free. Here's some of what we saw.

This historical industrial site along the Don River includes an old paper mill, distillery, and train station. Today it is the site of some very fine art galleries.

Jason and I love to go hiking, and we've found some pretty neat spots in and around Toronto for doing so. They're called "urban parks" which means trees in the middle of the city (if you can forget about the sounds of the 401 for a moment).
